One of the trade house's goals is to organize oil and mineral oil product trade with end consumers by creating a trade-operating company. Realization of oil and mineral oil products through this company will allow the company to enter to the world oil trade market without agents.
The trade house developed a strategy of an international network, which will allow, in a short period of time, the development of a trade structure on the world market. The preparation of personnel for world trade development is done in the London office ChevronTexaco.
The expenditure of the Kazakhstan's oil sector to the world market is based of the experience of countries such as Norway, China and Oman. In the near future, TH KazMunaiGaz will be able to compete with international giants such as Exxon-Mobil, BP, Shell and etc.
Foreign countries: The main avenue of exporting TH "KazMunaiGaz" oil products is delivery using highway pipelines from West Kazakhstan, through the Russian Federation and Ukraine up to the sea terminals in Odessa, Novorossisk and further to the West Europe countries via sea. In addition to using the existing avenues of transportation of oil to foreign countries, the trade house conducts regular work for the exploration of alternative avenues.
Starting from May 2003, the trade house began realizing the supply of export oil using the KTK system.
The Former Soviet Republics: The main supply route of Kazakhstan's oil to the Former Soviet Republics is Ukrainian Refinery. The development of the Ukrainian infrastructure delivers guaranteed demand for Kazakhstan oil, unlike other markets of the Former Soviet Republics.
Iranian SWAP operation:
Kazakhstan's party to the agreement delivers crude oil through the Caspian Sea to Iran, in return for the equivalent done by the Iranian side through the Persian Gulf in condition to the repayment of SWAP payments by the Iranian side.
Sides to the SWAP contract: - Kazakhstan: TH KazMunaiGaz Ltd.
- Iran: Naftiral Integrated Company Ltd. (NICO)
This project is the first step to realizing the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan to find ecumenically beneficent alternatives of transporting Kazakhstanian raw hydrocarbon.
SWAP – a promising plan
Kazakhstan signed a SWAP contract with Iran in 1996 and in 2002 another contract was signed for the exchange of crude oil with the National Iranian Oil Company. The renewed SWAP contract gives the opportunity of delivering a wide range of oil combinations and in return, the receiving of oil in the Persian Gulf. This agreement is beneficent not only for Kazakhstan but also for Iran, since most of their oilfields are located on the south and the main oil processing plants are located on the north. The growing need Iran for energy resources confirms that it is safe to say this cooperation between to two countries is solid and long lasting. The fact Kazakhstan is present in the Persian Gulf, one of the largest oil trading points in the world, carries strategic value for the country from the point of view of the creation of an image for Kazakhstan, not only as big oil manufacturer but also as a country who takes a definite role in the price politics of oil trading.

2. Insert enrollments to the Republic's budget the sums of royalties added on by crude oil extractors in the set by law dates and periods for royalty payments.
