In 2002, the national company KazMunaiGaz was established in accordance to President Decree and government regulation No. 248 as a result of merging between KazakhOil and "Oil and Gas Transportation Company". KazMunaiGaz is a part of the development and realization of a unified government politics and adheres to the government strategy for the oil sector. One of the priority directions of the company are integration with global markets and attraction of foreign investments.
Trade House KazMunaiGaz was founded in 2002 as a daughter company for the realization of oil and mineral oil products abroad.
Thanks to government programs for the attraction of foreign investments, many enterprises were established in Kazakhstan with foreign collaboration, whose main functions are: development of oil and gas origins, processing of oil and gas as well as the transportation of oil gas and mineral oil products.
Munai-Implex Holding S.A became one of the enterprises mentioned above. The company was founded on December 22, 2000 and renamed to TH KazMunaiGaz Holding S.A in August of 2003.
Trade House KazMunaiGaz S.A is the sole owner of TH KazMunaiGaz Ukraine.
TH KazMunaiGaz Ukraine has been created by the decision of the General meeting of the Board of directors of the company TH KazMunaiGaz Holding S.A on April 20, 2004 as a daughter company with the organizational-legal form of the "society with limited liability" (Ltd.). Registration of the company has been carried out on July, 20th 2004 under the full name of "TH KazMunaiGaz Ukraine Ltd.".
Company goals:
First and foremost, TH KazMunaiGas Ukraine has been created to represent the interests of the Kazakhstan manufacturers of oil in Ukraine and in the surrounding region. The basic purpose for creation of the company is expansion of cooperation between Ukraine and Kazakhstan in the field of processing and trading of gas and mineral oil.
Trade House KazMunaiGas Ukraine adheres to the strategy of Trade House KazMunaiGaz Holding S.A. concerning the formation of a positive image abroad, and promotes the development of an oil-and-gas industry of the Republic Kazakhstan for its subsequent integration into economy.
Great importance is also given to the expansion of the presence of Kazakhstan retrogrades in Ukraine and in the surrounding region, for increasing the opportunities of cooperation. The protection of the Kazakhstan interests in the Ukrainian market of mineral oil, the creation of transport corridors for export of the Kazakhstan mineral oil, search and cooperation with potential Ukrainian consumers of the Kazakhstan raw material are of interest for both parties.
